We are a retired couple who were downsizing from a large home in Pickering (40 yrs) and relocating to Lindsay.  From the moment we walked into the sales office of R. Moore Homes we were met with professionalism and cooperation. R. Moore Homes is a family run, custom home builder. Their staff worked hard at making our home meet our needs and customize our home from their existing plans.  We went from a 2 bdrm bungalow to a spacious 3 bdrm loft design with a main floor that is completely wheelchair accessible. Our cabinet, countertop and flooring options were numerous & of high quality.  Their tradesmen and vendors were well established in the area and quality of workmanship showed in their work. Our home is unique in the neighbourhood but also fits in size & style with the existing homes. Any concerns or imperfections were taken care of quickly, professionally and excellent communication.  They were always willing to make things right & did it with a smile. We are now enjoying a spacious home that will meet our needs for years to come.  We would highly recommend R. My Wife and I had the pleasure of working with R. Moore homes in 2018 when they built our family home on Alcorn Dr. in Lindsay. We were very happy with the whole process and final product. Partnering with R Moore Homes to build our dream home took our vision, and using the R Moore team, to create the reality.  We were provided with clear and detailed costing with a structured project plan from their sales manager, we were able to understand the process and timing.  With ongoing interactive communication with our site supervisor issues and problems were resolved keeping the project moving forward.  The result is a quality built beautiful home for our family.  Even when your home is completed they stand behind there custom home and workmanship for any warrantable items. Building a lake home from scratch for first time is a daunting and stressful experience. Choosing the right builder helped us tremendously through this process. From the initial meeting on a freezing Sunday, on site, with Rick Moore, to the invaluable recommendations from Derrick, Holley’s  patience taking us to the different suppliers, to  Kevin and Ryan’s ongoing open communication and Justin’s ongoing support, we couldn’t have asked for a better builder choice. No new build can ever get done without hiccups, particularly during a pandemic with trade and supply shortages, but R Moore was able to minimize the stress and the bottom line is that we are extremely happy with our new home.
